Dentistry For Life is looking to add a new team member. We know our patients deserve the very best so our goal is to give them that everyday. We must be doing a good job because we're getting more and more new patients flocking to our door. In fact, so many that we need to dedicate a front desk staff member, Michelle Hernandez, just to taking care of their needs and the many phone calls we receive. That means we need to add another enthusiastic people person to our fabulous staff to take care of our equally fabulous patients as they make their way through the practice. This new position will be dedicated to seeing that nothing slips through the cracks and that every patient has a WOW experience from start to finish. S/he will be in charge of all patient information, both electronic and paper charts, making sure that everything is always up-to-date and filed. S/he will welcome and seat each patient as they come in, making sure all is in order from finances to insurance; and then check them out and schedule their next appointment when they're done. S/he will work with the assistants to make sure the patient's visit is smooth and stress-free and even help sterilize or clean rooms if necessary. S/he will follow-up on every patient visit to ensure that our patient's every need is handled. If a patient is getting something from an outside lab, s/he will pack carefully, track the lab's progress, and keep the patient informed. S/he will be the patient's advocate and a liaison between the clinical and front desk staff. S/he will handle emergencies, prescriptions, coordinate outside referrals, and track implant progress among other duties. We also want to make sure that patient's can reach us during all normal working hours so this newest staff member will work from 8am- 5pm Monday - Thursday and 9am - 6pm Fridays even when the office is normally closed. This is a key support person and must be organized, meticulous, computer-savvy, and infectiously upbeat with lots of initiative.
